FREE (AP) U.S. History Timeline Worksheet

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating: timelines are absolutely crucial for helping students orient themselves to historical content. They provide a clear, visual representation of how events unfold over time, allowing students to see connections, cause-and-effect relationships, and the broader context of historical developments.

SO, that being said, I’m sharing a straightforward timeline worksheet that I frequently use with students, often as a warm-up activity. This basic timeline includes events from Periods 1 through 5 and is designed to help students organize and review the major events that commonly appear on APUSH exams. It’s a useful tool for reinforcing key historical milestones and preparing for assessments.
