Discovery: Scotland

I’ll admit, I have a soft spot for Scotland. My paternal ancestry is Scottish — to the point where we wore tartans with a rabbit’s foot in family photos as children.

To supplement my Loch Ness monster persuasive writing lesson, I put together this mini-lesson introducing students to Scotland. It’s best for students 4th-6th grade depending on how it’s scaffolded.
