Masculino o Feminino?

Grammar is no fun. It’s especially no fun in your second (or third or fourth etc.) language. However, it is sooo important. In Spanish, it is especially important to have a thorough understanding of Spanish definite articles.
Learning about Spanish definite articles is important for several reasons:

  1. Grammatical Accuracy

  2. Meaning Clarity

  3. Language Fluency

  4. Cultural Understanding

  5. Reading and Comprehension

  6. Listening and Comprehension

  7. & Noun Gender Agreement

This last one is especially important and proves to be a challenge for native English speakers as we don’t have an equivalent in our language. In Spanish, every noun has a gender: feminine or masculine.

I will admit, 10+ years into studying Spanish, these still trip me up! I’ve put together a very brief overview and simple practice of definite articles for any beginning Spanish learner. Check it out on tPt here!
